If you’d like to ask questions about my approach to your particular situation, we can do that on my secure practice portal or in a scheduled call. If I think someone else would be a better fit, I’ll make an appropriate referral.
If we decide to meet, I will send you practice forms through my practice portal so that we can devote our time in session to your relationship. Completing these is necessary in order to hold your appointment.
The next step is a full session in my office, where you can speak at leisure about the situation and feelings that have led you to seek help, and where you can ask questions about how I would help you reach your goals. In that session — usually 60 or 90 minutes — I’ll make some observations and recommendations, and you can decide whether you would like to make another appointment.
Payment is at the end of each session with cash, major credit card, or HSA card. Video or phone sessions and couple intensives are billed ahead of time by credit card. If you plan to file for out-of-network reimbursement, I provide monthly receipts you can submit to your insurer.
Cancellation policy: I ask for 48 hours’ notice should you need to cancel or you will be charged for the missed session. Email me at the message box below or at this link.
- I don’t accept any health insurance. If your health insurance policy provides for out-of-network coverage, I provide a coded receipt so that you can file for reimbursement from your insurer.
- If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA), I can swipe your card and provide a coded receipt.
