Are you an international New Yorker? With over one-third of New York residents born in another country, it’s hard to think of a more exciting place to live. In my practice, I see people from all over the world for individual and marriage counseling.
My office is a short, pleasant walk from many of the large midtown firms, the East Side medical corridor, and the United Nations. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to visit many of the countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa the people in my practice come from. My books have been translated into Mandarin, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Turkish and Portuguese. I am a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and secretary for the Eastern Region, serving people of all faiths, communities and traditions, and am co-moderator of the pastoral-counseling list on the Internet, with members across the globe. You may have seen me interviewed on CNN International or AJE. I do my best to be informed about and sensitive to your cultural experience, family life and values as I help you reach your goals.
I also see people who are visiting from abroad and seek marriage counseling or couples therapy while they are here in New York. A marriage counseling intensive can be especially appropriate if this is your goal, since we can often accomplish a great deal by focusing on your relationship in extended sessions over a few days.
My office is conveniently located two blocks from the Empire State Building and near many of the city’s tourist attractions.
When you return home, we can arrange to follow up on our work via email, FaceTime or Skype.
Since 1990 I have helped hundreds of people in the New York area heal from pain, feel more confident and enjoy more fulfilling relationships. For a free telephone or email consultation, email or call me today.
